James McGovern's Reel. I am a documentary producer and editor of 9 years. Recently, a web based, music documentary that I created,directed and edited, 'Rock N Roll Safari', was nominated for a Emmy in the Advanced Media category. I have 8 years of Final Cut experience and 8 years of production and direction experience in the documentary and commercial/industrial world. I just finished editing and producing a music documentary about an 80 year old Boogie Woogie piano player and the history of Boogie Woogie music. I have produced and edited a commercial for the Super-bowl, I have produced and edited, 9, 40 minute segments for a music series that I created for PBS, and several commercials for local businesses so my work history is diverse.
